Sheikh Khalid Jehangir is a journalist, politician and a core member of the BJP. He contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from the Srinagar constituency. Before joining national politics, he worked with national and international media news bureaus for more than 10 years. He has been a recipient of the prestigious fellowship from SEAC, Pennsylvania, USA, where he specialised in diplomacy and outreach programmes.
