He pioneered initiatives like introduction of the concept of Service Level Benchmarks, providing 15,000 modern new buses to more than 70 cities, urban transport reforms at the city level, urban bus specifications, BRTS in more cities and the first system wide PPP in Metro rail in Hyderabad
