This is a basic book for the Students of Social Work. The book deals with the concepts, theories and definitions of schools of thought in Social Work. The Book was written and drawn from the different sources such as Published Literature, Papers and material relevant in the Internet liberally in the hope to outreach widely to the Students of Social Work and improve their understanding. Thus, it is a compendium and all the Sources were acknowledged at the end of Book. The Book covers origin and history of social work, concepts of social work, methods of social work, career and job opportunities in social work and social work practicum. A Chapter is exclusively focused on Career and Job Opportunities in Social Work would motivate the Students and provide a basis for specialization after graduation. Last Chapter would definitely helpful with regard to Field Work and making note of observations in the field book and organizing the field work records properly.
