Description
The book attempts to unravel the nature of ‘Shirdi Path’ laid down by Shirdi Sai, in the context of messages of Veda – Vedanta – Bhagavad Gita as well as the mystical teachings of Sufism, Sikhism and Bhakti movements. The life and teachings of the Sadguru Sai have been presented or referred to, along with the ‘Shirdi Path’ which He professed as one of devotional love with firm faith, patience and perseverance (Shradhha and Saburi) as well as compassionate service. Complete surrender to one’s Sadguru who plays a macro and micro role in the cosmic scheme of things and in the life and death of the devotee is the core of the Shirdi Path. Happiness comes in one’s life, as one develops equanimity and equipoise. Mysticism of the Shirdi path is shown as the melting pot and happy combination of all known mystical paths. This book can serve as a useful document and guide for devotees, researchers and students of comparative religion, metaphysics and spiritualism. About The Author A.R.
