The Ao Baptist Church Association celebrated the Silver Jubilee of the Ao Naga Holy Bible-Temeshi La-on November 29, 1989. This occasion marked a historic milestone, as it was the first time a complete Holy Bible had been translated into any Naga language. For the Ao people, Temeshi Lai stands as the largest literary work ever produced in the Ao Naga dialect. Beyond serving as sacred scripture, it also laid the foundation for written literature in the Ao language. Indeed, it remains one of the greatest achievements of the Ao Naga Christian Churches.
