The purpose of this book is to examine the present condition of refugees and cover social, legal and political aspects relating to it. Itexplains the historical aspect of refugees from international and national perspectives. This book focuses on legal efforts for refugee protection at international and national level. This book also discusses international assistance to refugees provided by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees along with its structure, functions and funding.The book further describes judicial response towards refugees in India.
