This book is an attempt to put together what its contributors have deemed to be a fitting tribute to Professor Prakasa Rao a doyen among Indian geographers who has rendered more than 30 years of dedicated service to Indian geography. This volume contains 19 papers are in the nature of a critical assessment of Professor Prakasa Rao contributions of Indian geography and planning.
