The historical study on the development of re-unification among the Mara Churches in Mizoram. The so-called Mara Church was founded by Lakher Pioneer Missionary Rev. Reginald Arthur Lorrain in 1907 at Saikao, ECM Headquarters. After 82 years of smoothly running of the Mara Church, it was split into two Churches i.e. Independent Church of Maraland (ICM) and Evangelical Church Maraland (ECM) in 1989 at New Siaha Assembly. There were many peace talk between the two Churches, lastly the two Mara Churches came together, and re-united with the presence of District Judiciary Magistrate, Siaha at several points of Agreements for the re-unification of the Mara Churches in the year 2024.
