Lockdown. A passionate photographer. A camera. The terrace of a home in the foothills of the Himalayas. A terrace garden. All of which made a perfect combination for the revival of a long standing love affair with nature. Breathtaking sunrises, spectacular sunsets, rumbling, tumbling, metamorphosing clouds, flowers on the terrace garden, all captured with a sense of awe at the bounty that surrounds us, confinement to the home notwithstanding! With a desire to share this wondrous experience of a two month long communion with nature, a book began to take shape. Each picture evoked a thought which was sought to be conveyed with a quotation. Nature was healing and reveling in this period of minimal human intervention, which is showcased in this offering.
