About the Book

An Ethnobotanical Research is an outcome of all Ethnobotanist working in various parts of India or Nationwide explorating their biota with ethnic uses of medicinal plants for Societal cause their Novel Approach towards Scientific Community which is based on Applied Aspects of Science from Laboratory to Land. Dr. J. W. Harshberger first coined the Term Ethnobotany on 4 December 1895, at a lecture in Philadelphia, to describe his field of inquiry, which he defined as the study of “plants used by primitive and aboriginal peoples”. In the year 1896, he published the term and suggested to scientific community the term “Ethnobotany” Since from then onwards different parts of world Ethnobotany is growing like Tributaries of Mega rivers originated from Philadelphia. From various parts of world Ethnobotanical Literature has been growing rapidly , with remarkable number of documents in the form of Ethnography, Archeological Accounts, Traveloegous, Gazettes, Herbals, Materia Medica, Unpublished Papers, Manuscripts, and various initiative runs by Government at national and International Levels .
