Dr Geetanjali Shahapurkar’s book A Study in Model Biographies has six chapters. The first chapter is theoretical about the genre. The next five chapters cover Boswell’s Dr Johnson, Plutarch’s Lives, Prema Nandakumar’s Swami Vivekananda, Romain Rolland’s Mahatma Gandhi and Helen McNeil’s Emily Dickinson. The analysis and critique of the each of the biographies is excellent and useful for the knowledge-hungry students and people.
