The year 2021 is extremely significant in the history of the bilateral partnership between India and Soviet Union-Russia since 50 years back the two friendly nations signed Peace, Friendship and Cooperation Treaty that have significantly contributed to ensure stability in Asia amid the prevailing geo-political situation of that time. There are few parallels of this kind of Treaty in the history of South Asia and probably the most consequential treaty that India has signed so far. The Treaty played a key role in making history with the creation of a new nation, thus fulfilling the aspirations of millions. The volume is a celebration of the Treaty which has been a landmark event in the history of two nations.
